Group Music Classes

Junior Jammers

Piano: Continuing

Classes continue at the same day and time for many years.

While it is not mandatory to remain in the group program for a long time, most group classes tend to stay together for many years. Part of this is due to the fact that classes are continuing, therefore, a student cannot pause his lessons and rejoin the same class a few months later.

Once a class has begun, that class will stay at the same day and time for years to come. Students and families learn together and develop friendships. Students learn healthy competition, respect, consideration, listening skills and caring for each other, while also learning how to work together as an ensemble group as opposed to being just a soloist.

Classes might disband or need to regroup with other classes if a class becomes too small to remain a class. Advanced classes that have been together for many years may become quartets or trios, if necessary. Younger classes must maintain five students to remain viable classes.

Students who complete the group program play at an intermediate - late intermediate level and understand music theory to such a degree that they are able to transpose, accompany, sightsing, analyze music, compose and so much more.

When tuition is received enrollment is processed and commitments are made to teachers. At that time, tuition becomes non refundable and non transferable.
