200 Students Perform in 9 Recitals in Spring Festival

Our Spring Festival for private students was held in our Performance Classroom May 5-7 and each performance was wonderful! We had 200 students perform at a total of 9 recitals, and close to a thousand visitors attend! Our private student’s festival featured piano, voice, piano/voice combo, guitar, and violin with our students ranging from age 4 to adult. There were arrangements ranging from Twinkle Little Star to Mozart and Rachmaninoff and so many more!

May 20-21 was our class Spring Festival where all of our group students put on great recitals for us. Some of the class Spring Festival’s this year featured Beatles music! Each class worked diligently to prepare their ensembles and solos. The arrangements on the 21st, specifically created by Ms. Sharon for each class, showcased the concepts that the classes had been working on throughout the year. Highlights included arrangements by The Beatles such as, Yellow Submarine, Eleanor Rigby, Across the Universe, Here Comes the Sun, as well as songs the students composed themselves!
Thank you to our students and teachers for working so hard to put on another spectacular show this year!
